Sagittarius Full Moon Oracle

On Monday, June 17th at 1:30am PDT we have a Full Moon in 25 degrees of Sagittarius.

This Full Moon is all about exploration and adventure. It’s archetype is “the Archer” we are all like an arrow being released.

It’s not about the destination, the experience of being in flight is its purpose.

Jupiter in its home sign of Sagittarius conjunct to the Moon, this expansive truth seeker amplifies emotions and may make you want to take a journey, either physically or spiritually.

Neptune is in its home sign of Pisces forms a square to the Moon and the Sun. This relationship can bring challenges of feeling lost in a dream or out of touch with reality, and could be hard to recognize.

It will be helpful to check in with yourself and make sure you’re staying grounded and present.

Because this is a Full Moon, the Moon (and Jupiter) opposes the Sun in Gemini. There is a polar opposite energy exchange present because of their positions, as well as duality being a quality of Gemini. Jupiter shows our connection to the Universe. The Moon has an internal focused energy, but is being pulled outward by the Sun.

The conjunction of Pluto and Saturn to the South Node in Capricorn will continue to dig up things to be processed from the subconscious in order to evolve. This aspect opposes a conjunction of Mercury and Mars to the North Node in Cancer. Mercury embodies communication, and Mars gives a push forward which is softened by Cancer’s compassion.

This energetic relationship brings awareness to what is needed to release in order to regain balance.

Neptune in Pisces trines this aspect in Cancer which will harmonize the energy of clearing out and letting go, to bring ultimate success.

In North America this Moon is known as the “Strawberry Moon”, named by Algonquin tribes who noted its appearance in connection to the time of gathering ripe wild strawberries.

This is a great time to have your chart read, schedule with me here

Strawberry Full Moon in Sagittarius Ritual:

You will need a pen and paper, lighter/matches, bowl of water, and fresh strawberrie

Write down what no longer serves you on a piece of paper. Set up an altar outside, under the light of the Moon, with an offering of fresh organic strawberries. Invoke the fire energy of Sagittarius by burning the piece of paper with your intentions, and watch as it is consumed. Feel the release of what you are letting go leave your energetic body. Catch the ashes into the bowl with water and leave under the Moonlight. The next day, pour the water out under a favorite tree or plant as an offering of gratitude to the Earth. Your ritual is complete.

Much Love,

Christen
